WHISKEY SONGS is out!!
Mike is very pleased to announce the release of the brand new album, "Whiskey Songs" featuring the songs, "Superhero", "Hopeful Melody", "North Kansas", "I'll Do" and Liar. Whiskey Songs is an album that is intended to be played late at night on a front porch with some good friends and a bottle of something. Check out the "Whiskey" tab to hear samples!!!

Mike is originally from Bloomington, IN but is now living out in Portland, OR. He got started playing guitar while in high school as a founding member of the band Page which played one show and promptly disbanded. Never one to be discouraged, since that time Mike has performed with numerous bands including Just and 4-4-60, as well as numerous solo shows in venues around the Northwest, the Midwest and the East coast. He has been compared to such artists as Neutral Milk Hotel, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Elliott Smith and Bright Eyes by garageband.com reviewers. His songs have consistently been described as interestingly original with references to the complex instrumental interplay. He particularly prides himself on his ability to switch between musical genres and feels without losing a common thread of hope and redemption in his songs.
